Using Oregano Oil or Tea Tree Oil to Cure Nail Fungus

Nail fungus is a very embarrassing condition that lots of people in this world have. This has triggered the advance on knowledge for treatments, whether it's medical or alternative. Medication treats the condition through chemical formulas that most people reject, because of the side effects, which can be serious. As most people know alternative medicine tries to find natural cures, and one of the most common cures involves the use of essential oils. Below are a couple of examples of essential oils that help cure and treat nail fungus.

Let's start with oregano oil. Oregano oil is the preferred oil as a treatment for nail fungus. It can be applied topically, even though some specialists think it's necessary to ingest it orally to fight the fungus from. Oregano oil has an extremely powerful penetrating power which makes it good for battling nail fungus that may spread under the nail.

If you want to use oregano oil for nail fungus, you must stick to a strict daily routine of rubbing it on all affected nails. You will be doing little to help improve the condition of your nail if you use oregano oil one day and forget the next. So do your best to not miss any days since the fungus spreads easily and quick.

Now let's talk a little about tea tree oil which comes from an Australian plant called Tea Tree. It consists of a powerful substance called terpinen-4-ol. Scientific research has proved that this substance has antifungal, antibacterial, and antiviral properties. Tea tree oil also has powerful penetration power to nail fungus under the nail bed, but unlike oregano oil, tea tree oil is not safe for ingestion. Both oils have the same daily directions.

Oregano oil and tea tree oil are easy to use, widely available, and obviously a lot cheaper than using prescribed medications. Regardless, you must always consult with a physician first so that they can help you through this natural treatment, and answer your questions along the way to a healthy nail.

Always keep your feet dry. You may use a hair drier to dry water in between the fingers. Avoid wearing rubber or plastic shoes, which hold moisture.Emuaid
